In this Bachelor of Oil and Gas Management, you will be exposed to supply chain management, economics, comparative management of oil and gas, public policy and financial management, public infrastructure planning and management, community engagement, natural resource economics, public transportation systems, land management and administration and operation managements. In addition to the technical context of oil and gas management, you will also learn the generalised business and management subjects such as financial accounting, quantitative methods, organisational theory and management, organisational change and management, business policy and strategic management, human resource management, corporate governance and ethics and research methods.
This is a unique programme that combines petroleum, gas and exploration engineering to cater for the ever-demanding oil and gas industry. The curriculum in Oil & Gas Engineering is intended to prepare students for the petroleum industry and other fields which involve fluid flow through subsurface formations and particularly for those professions which have to do with drilling, production, reservoir engineering and transportation of oil, gas, and other subsurface resources.
