Mechatronic engineers examine and use new technologies in automation and robotics to enable work in dangerous surroundings or precise positioning to be achieved for the benefits of health, safety, society and economy. With keen interest and demand in the marketplace for professional mechatronic engineers in recent years, the core target of the course is to arm you to work at a professional level in related industries. You will enhance practical knowledge and skills to study and programme basic mechatronic integrated systems with practical experiments in instrumentation, and measurement and control of hydraulic, pneumatic and electric systems. MEng students will embark on a group project to actually develop mechatronic products.
