September 1 Year MYR 51,600 Postgraduate - Masters
The MSc in Chemical Engineering is a 12-month course consisting of 3 semesters of lectures, project work, continuous assessment and examinations. This is then continued by a self research project, followed by an MSc dissertation submission. You are required to select modules worth a total of 80 credits from a list of modules available in autumn and spring semesters. Meeting IChemE’s ‘further learning’ requirement, your selection should consist of at least 40 credits of determined modules. You must complete the ‘full-year’ and project modules listed separately. If you have taken any of the modules as part of a BEng/MEng degree course at the university, then you are not permitted to take the modules again.
This course is ideal for those who wanted to specialise in environmental engineering after graduating from their undergraduate degree or after working in the environmental engineering field for a time. It covers a number of traditional subjects from which you can choose from, such as water treatment, air pollution and contaminated land.
