The curriculum is designed to provide a general medical education for all types of doctor, and a foundation for later career specialization. From the beginning, teaching is structured through interdisciplinary clinical cases. Learning is hands on.

The overall goal of health science is the improvement of health through scientific research. The Health Sciences programme provide students an introduction to the health care field and an in-depth science background to prepare learners for a health-related career.

UEC	A score of 2 based on the average of the following subjects: biology, chemistry, physics, maths and additional maths, with none of these subjects achieving less than B4
SACE/WACE	ATAR score of 90, inc. Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics
CPU	86%, based on the average of six best Grade 12 subjects, inc. Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics
