Foundation, Bachelor of Cinematic Arts (Hons.)

Malaysian citizen or a permanent resident of Malaysia.  Applicants must fulfil the entry requirements for the Foundation in Cinematic Arts, Foundation in Creative Multimedia, or Bachelor in Cinematic Arts. Applicants must complete their application for the scholarship in the prescribed form, which must be submitted before or on the closing date. Applicants must show proof of active involvement in co-curriculum or sports activities at school, state or national level. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding storytelling abilities as part of their application. The creative portfolio contains the following (in English): a) A 500-word short story based on one of the following scenarios: Two strangers sitting on the same table at a food stall Three children sitting near a river. One of them looks up to the sky and says A letter to yourself from the perspective of your favourite animal b) A 1-minute video/short film/comic/animation OR a photo/drawing essay of equal length, in English or any language (with English translation). c) A 500-word personal statement that lays out your academic, professional and personal goals and ambitions (in English).

100% of registration, tuition and annual resources fees plus monthly stipend for 1-year foundation and 3-year degree programmes; CGPA 3.00 every trimester.
