A career in pharmacy can be versatile and highly rewarding. Pharmacy is the science concerned with therapeutic substances – their discovery, origin and nature, their development into medicines and their use in disease prevention and treatment. Pharmacy also denotes the profession which uses its unique knowledge of medicines in the service of society. As a pharmacy graduate, you can choose to work mainly with people, by using your unique knowledge and skills in patient care learnt at IMU. Pharmacists supply medicines, provide medicines, health information and advice, and help to manage long-term illness. You can also choose to focus mainly on products – pharmacists hold key responsibilities in the Malaysian pharmaceutical industry and are in constant demand. Skilled pharmacy graduates are needed in clinical research, in formulation research and development, production, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and marketing.
WHAT IS PHARMACY?
Pharmacy is the science and technique of preparing and dispensing drugs. It is a health profession that links health sciences with chemical sciences and aims to ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs.REQUIREMENT

Undergraduate Scholarships - The International Medical University (IMU) has introduced a scholarship programme for 2017. Scholarships will now be available for most IMU programmes. There will be two types of scholarships available:
Full Tuition Fee (100%) for full duration of programme
Partial Tuition Fee (50%) for full duration of programme
