At IMU, the Dental programme is innovatively designed to provide early clinical exposure and various forms of learning activities to promote critical reasoning, develop professionalism and lifelong learning skills. As a dentist, you are a member of the healthcare team providing advice to the public about oral healthcare. Your job will also include restoring function to badly decayed, broken or infected teeth, replacing missing teeth with dentures, bridges or implant-supported prostheses, treatment of oral diseases such as inflammatory diseases of gum and supporting tissues, destructive diseases such as cancer of the oral tissues, the aligning and straightening of teeth. Your work is not confined to just filling and pulling out teeth. The care that dentists are trained to provide greatly improves the quality of your patients’ lives. As dentists are usually not required to be on call at night nor make house calls, it’s easier for you to achieve a perfect balance between your professional and personal lives.

Undergraduate Scholarships - The International Medical University (IMU) has introduced a scholarship programme for 2017. Scholarships will now be available for most IMU programmes. There will be two types of scholarships available:
Full Tuition Fee (100%) for full duration of programme
Partial Tuition Fee (50%) for full duration of programme
