WHAT CAN I LEARN?

This 7-semester programme equips students with knowledge in communicating and maintaining safety and health initiatives in various workplaces. Graduates are highly sought by companies in oil and gas, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, hospitality, and public services. They may apply for the Green Book licence to be a Registered SHO after 3 years of work experience.

WHAT IS HEALTH AND SAFETY?

This course aims to create awareness on how management can reduce risk in the workplace. By the end of the course, students will understand the legal duties placed on individuals and organisations, the consequences of failing to manage health and safety and the positive impact that good health and safety can have on the bottom line.
