This course should allow you to uncover new knowledge either by discovery of new facts, the formulation of theories or the innovative re-interpretation of known data and established ideas. This doctoral research will use an in-depth understanding of theories and concepts to develop practical solutions for real-world problems.

General engineering and technology focus on the understanding of applied engineering and a generic knowledge of technological equipment, methods and processes. It involves mathematical and computer skills, understanding of mechanics, material physics and statistics. Graduates can have career in architecture offices, construction companies, engineering firms, or in research and developmen firms.
